MELY OLMEDA, lifetime thrifter and founder of Virgo Santa Cruz, started out as a part-time vintage clothing reseller in early 2017 with her brand Daddy Vintage.

After cultivating a community of other like-minded folks, she had bloomed a passion for sustainable and ethical clothing consumption, which eventually led her to resell full-time. In early 2022, Virgo Santa Cruz was born.

Mely’s goal for Virgo was not only to facilitate a place for small businesses to sell their curated clothing and handmade items, but also a place for creatives to collaborate.

Like its founder, Virgo SC lives and breathes for its community. Mely works to make sure that all aspects of Virgo are small business-centric: as Virgo grows, community and sustainability will always be the priority.
